What is Xtream Codes?

The username-and-password login that organises your IPTV into live TV, movies and series. And, most likely, what you're already using without knowing it.

Raudo is the player — you bring your own login (M3U or Xtream Codes). It includes no channels or content.

What Xtream Codes is, in one sentence

Xtream Codes is a way to access your IPTV with a username and password. With those details, the player talks directly to your provider's server and downloads your list already organised: live TV on one side, movies on another and series by season, with their posters and guide.

What your provider gives you

The three details of an Xtream login

With these three details, the player builds your full list.

Host (server)http://example.com:8080Your provider's server address.
Usernameyour_usernameYour account username, unique to you.
Password••••••••••The key that goes with your username.
Example details. The real ones come from your provider — and in Raudo they're stored only on your PC.

Two ways, same result

How you enter your Xtream in Raudo

It doesn't matter which you use: you end up with the same full catalogue.

The three details separately

In the "Xtream Codes" tab you type the host, username and password. The most direct way if your provider gave them to you loose.

A single link (your "M3U")

If you paste the get.php?username=…&password=… link into "M3U / URL", Raudo sees your credentials inside and goes in via Xtream on its own. That's why that "M3U link" also gives you movies and series.

Why it's worth it

What the Xtream login unlocks

Live TV

All your live channels, sorted into categories.

Movies

A browsable movie catalogue, with posters and info.

Series by season

Series are organised into seasons and episodes, not loose files.

EPG guide

The "now and next" schedule for each channel, when the server offers it.

So, Xtream or M3U?

It isn't an either/or. If your provider gave you a username and password — or a link that carries them inside — you're using Xtream, and that's why you have live TV, movies and series. A bare M3U, with no credentials, only brings live channels. In practice, most people use Xtream without realising, because their "M3U link" is already an Xtream login.

Raudo understands both forms and detects which one is yours. You just paste what your provider gave you.

Frequently asked questions

What is Xtream Codes?

Xtream Codes is a way to access an IPTV service with a host, a username and a password. The player uses those details to connect to the provider's server and download the list of live TV, movies and series already organised, with posters and a guide. It's what gives you the full catalogue experience.

Why does my "M3U link" give me movies and series?

Because that link isn't a bare M3U: it carries your username and password inside (the usual get.php?username=…&password=…), and that's an Xtream login. Raudo detects it automatically and loads the full catalogue — live TV, movies, series and posters — without you doing anything special.

What details do I need to set up Xtream Codes?

You need three details from your provider: the host or server address (something like http://example.com:8080), your username and your password. You can type them separately, or just paste the link that already contains them. The step-by-step guide is linked on this page.

Does Xtream Codes include channels?

No. Xtream Codes is only the access method: the channels and catalogue live on your provider's server, not in the player. Raudo, like any player, includes and offers no content; it only opens the login you provide.

Is it safe to enter my Xtream username and password?

In Raudo your details are stored only on your PC and used only to connect to your provider's server. The app has no server of its own and never sends your credentials anywhere else. Even so, treat them like any password and don't share them.
