Terms of Service
The conditions for downloading and using Raudo, the IPTV player for Windows. In short: Raudo is the app; you bring and manage your own playlist.
Last updated: July 2026 · draft
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Raudo (“Raudo”, “the app” or “the software”), a native desktop player for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) developed and provided by the Raudo team (“we”, “us”).
By downloading, installing or using Raudo you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, do not download or use the app.
You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your country of residence.
2. License to use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use Raudo on devices you control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
This license does not transfer ownership of the software to you. In particular, you may not:
- Resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute Raudo as if it were your own.
- Decompile, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Remove or alter copyright notices, trademarks or attributions in the software.
- Use Raudo to build a competing product or service from its code.
3. Acceptable use
Raudo is only a player. You supply and manage your own playlist: an M3U/M3U8 URL or file, or Xtream Codes credentials (host, username and password). Raudo includes, offers and distributes no channels, playlists or content of any kind.
You are solely responsible for your playlist and for the content you play, as well as for holding the rights, licenses or permissions needed to access it. You may not use Raudo to:
- Access, download, record or redistribute content you do not have the rights or authorization for.
- Carry out any unlawful activity or infringe the intellectual property or other rights of third parties.
- Breach the terms of your playlist provider, network or any third-party service.
- Distribute malware or interfere with the normal operation of the app or of others' services.
We do not monitor or control the playlists or servers you configure. If you use Raudo for unauthorized purposes, you do so entirely at your own risk.
4. No warranty and limited liability
Raudo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will run uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will be compatible with any given playlist, server, codec or configuration.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from the use of or inability to use Raudo. Nor are we responsible for the content you play or for your playlist provider, with whom we have no relationship.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it, nor the non-waivable rights you have as a consumer in the European Union.
5. Intellectual property
The “Raudo” name, logo, software, interface and design are owned by Raudo or its licensors and are protected under applicable law. These Terms grant you no rights over them beyond the license to use described above.
The content you play through Raudo (channels, VOD, series, EPG guide and the like) belongs to its respective owners. It is not ours, we do not host it, and we have no connection to those providers.
Raudo relies on open-source components (for example, the libmpv playback engine), used in accordance with their respective licenses.
6. Changes and availability
We may update, improve, change or discontinue Raudo or any of its features at any time. The app updates itself automatically to receive improvements and fixes.
We may also amend these Terms. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date; continued use of Raudo after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
7. Future paid plan (optional)
Raudo is free. An optional premium tier (around €5/year) with a 7-day trial is planned for later. It is an optional plan: the core of the app will remain usable.
Where offered, pricing, billing, renewal and refunds will be handled through the relevant external payment provider (for example, Lemon Squeezy), and will be subject to their conditions in addition to applicable consumer law.
The specific terms of the paid plan will be detailed and published at launch; until then, this section is informational only.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Spain, without prejudice to the protection you retain, as a consumer, under the mandatory rules of your EU country of residence.
If any clause of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remainder will continue to apply in full.
