Set up the EPG TV guide in Raudo

The TV guide (EPG) shows what's on now and next in a grid. Raudo reads it from your Xtream Codes or M3U, so you can set reminders and jump straight to catch-up.

Raudo is the player — you bring your own playlist (M3U or Xtream Codes) and its guide. It ships no channels, no content and no EPG of its own.

What the EPG guide is

EPG stands for Electronic Program Guide: the grid that shows what's airing now and what comes next on each channel, with times, titles and descriptions.

Raudo doesn't create that guide — it reads the data your provider sends. With Xtream Codes it usually comes built in; with an M3U playlist it's taken from the EPG (XMLTV) your provider includes.

  • See the now-and-next for every channel at a glance.
  • Set reminders so you never miss a programme.
  • Jump to catch-up from a programme that already aired, when your provider offers it.

Use the EPG guide step by step

01

Open the Guide

Go to the Guide (EPG) section from the main menu to see the grid for all your channels.

02

Browse now and next

Scroll the grid to see what's on right now and what's coming up next on each channel.

03

Set a reminder

Pick a programme that hasn't started yet and turn on a reminder; Raudo will alert you when it's about to begin.

04

Jump to catch-up

Choose a programme that already aired and open it from the guide to watch it with catch-up, when your provider allows it.

If the guide looks shifted

Are programmes showing an hour or two earlier or later than they should? It's almost always a timezone thing: your provider's EPG comes in a different time than your PC.

In Raudo's EPG settings there's a time offset. Adjust it in hours until the grid matches what's actually airing, and your reminders will land in the right place.

EPG guide questions

Why do some channels have no guide?

Because the EPG depends on your provider. If your Xtream Codes or M3U sends no guide data for a channel, Raudo has nothing to show. Everything else (live, catch-up, VOD) still works.

The guide shows the wrong times — what do I do?

Adjust the time offset in the EPG settings until the times match your zone. That's the usual fix when the grid appears ahead of or behind real airtime.

Can I set reminders?

Yes. Pick a programme that hasn't started yet and turn on the reminder; Raudo will alert you when it's about to begin so it doesn't slip by.

Can I watch something that already aired from the guide?

If your provider offers catch-up/timeshift for that channel, yes: open the past programme from the grid and its time-shifted playback begins.

Does Raudo include the guide or the channels?

No. Raudo is the player; you bring your playlist (M3U or Xtream Codes) and its EPG. It offers no channels, content or guide of its own.
